STUDIO POLICIES
Student Expectations : Gygi Music has a high standard of excellence expected of its students. Students must be prepared with lesson material and show a desire to learn and grow.
Right to Refuse Service / Recording : Gygi Music reserves the right to refuse service to any student for any reason. Gygi Music reserves the right to video/audio record ensemble performances and share these with the public for promotional and marketing purposes.
Group Lessons / Ensembles : For one week of the month, In place of the normal individual lesson there may be a group lesson or ensemble rehearsal. These will be determined by skill level and schedule.
Recitals: There may be student recitals. These usually occur in the Spring. All students are strongly encouraged to participate.
Materials : Students are expected to purchase books/materials recommended by the teacher in a timely manner. Each student should supply their own guitar.
Rescheduleing: Students can reschedule lessons as long as 24 hour notice is given in advance. If a student reschedules without the 24 hour notice, the lesson may not be rescheduled. The teacher is held to the same 24 hour standard or a free lesson is given to the student.
Payment : Cash, check, Venmo, or Paypal. Paid the first week of each month.
Late fees : $5 for every week late.
Rates:
Monthly Lessons : During the school year, tuition is a monthly fee, regardless if it is a "long" month or a "short" month. The summer months of June, July, and August as well as December may be adjusted depending on lesson availability of teacher and student.
$125 for weekly 1/2 hour sessions
$210 for weekly 50 min sessions
Single Lessons
$40 for 1/2 hour session
$70 for 50 min session
